A TEEN girl has vanished from her Glasgow home sparking a frantic police search today.

Diana Rezmives, 15, was last seen on Hinshaw Street in the Maryhill area of the city yesterday - and officers are hunting a red VW van she may have got into.

She was last seen at about 4.15pm and officers are appealing to the public for help in locating her.

Diana is caucasian, around 5ft4in, with a slim build and blue eyes.

She has long dyed blond hair and when last seen was wearing a navy blue body warmer with a cream jumper underneath, blue jeans and red velvet training shoes trimmed with fur.

Police believe she may have got into a red Volkswagen van, registration SF53 RLU.

Officers are now appealing for information on the whereabouts of the teenager and the vehicle.

Police Scotland said investigators have been checking CCTV footage for clues that could help to locate the missing teen.

She is still missing despite "extensive inquiries".

Inspector Donald Stewart said: "Extensive enquiries have been carried out, however all attempts to locate Diana have so far proved unsuccessful.

"She is only 15 and we just want to know she is safe and well.
